About We Women Sing

Born in 2010 The We Women Sing Choir was established for the joyful experience of group singing. The Choir was created and is led by Cindy-Anne Macdonald,  talented Singer/Songwriter and vocal teacher with over 20 years’ experience.

The Choir's founder Cindy-Anne Macdonald wanted to offer a safe and supportive community environment, with a strong focus on wellness, to encourage women to find their voice, their joy,  express themselves,  and experience connection and love. Consistently over time the choir has grown and now boasts a 50 plus strong performance choir.

Fundraising for local charities through concert performances, is also a feature of this choir.  Funds have been raised for MOSH Australia (Minimisation of Suicide Harm,)  Catherine House, Survivors of Domestic Violence support and The Festival of Now for Mental Health Awareness/Wellness.

The repertoire includes, Gospel, Cultural, Popular tunes (old and new), Rock, Folk, Musical Theatre and Original Compositions to delight any audience.  The choir is very inclusive, open to all ages and races and range of abilities.
